This year has been filled with unforgettable faces, wagging tails, gentle souls, and stories that touched our hearts in ways we will remember for a long time. To celebrate the beautiful companions who stepped into our studio and allowed us to honor their legacy in artwork, we are introducing something truly special.

Welcome to the first ever Olive and Fable Dog of the Year celebration.

This is your chance to vote for your favorite portrait from this year’s sessions and help one remarkable dog earn a place of honor as the Olive and Fable Dog of the Year for 2025.

Dog of the Year Prize

The Olive and Fable Dog of the Year 2025 title is a heartfelt celebration of the love, presence, and legacy captured during your companion’s portrait session. The winning family will receive an elevated prize designed to honor their story in the most artful way.

The winner will receive:

A $750 artwork credit to use toward new wall art, fine art prints from their previous session, or a future portrait experience.
The official title of Olive and Fable Dog of the Year 2025, created to honor the spirit and connection we were privileged to photograph.
The opportunity to use the credit towards an outdoor or studio session in 2026.

This prize is designed to preserve the essence of their companion in artwork that will be cherished for years to come.

Voter Prize

To thank our community for joining in this celebration and helping us honor the stories behind each portrait, every person who casts a vote will be entered into an exclusive giveaway.

The selected voter will receive:

A complimentary 2026 studio pet photography session, thoughtfully designed to highlight their companion’s personality and heart.
A $200 artwork credit to begin their collection of legacy pieces.
A 5 x 7 fine art matted print crafted with archival quality and ready for display.
The option to upgrade to a promotional package for a meaningful portrait experience.

This giveaway offers a beautiful opportunity to create artwork that celebrates a new chapter in their companion’s story.

How it Works:

1. View the Nominees

All of the dogs featured below have been nominated for our 2025 Dog of the Year. Every one of them was photographed in our studio or the great PNW outdoors during this inaugural year, and each carries a story filled with heart, personality, and connection. Scroll through the portraits to revisit the moments we captured together.

2. Cast your Vote

Voting will be open until December 27th, 2025. One vote per person. Choose the portrait of the pup or group of pups that speaks to you most or the one who you personally know. Fill out the form and indicate if you would also like to be entered to win your very own session!

3. Celebrate the Winner

The dog or family of dogs who receive the most votes will be named the Olive and Fable Dog of the Year 2025. The winner will be announced the week following the close of voting. The voter winner will also be contacted and announced then.

Why Your Vote Matters

These portraits are more than images. They are pieces of legacy and love. By voting, you help honor the stories we were privileged to document and celebrate the meaningful place these companions hold in their families’ lives.

Some sessions include multiple dogs or pets. In those cases, the entire family will be honored together if they receive the most votes.

You are welcome to vote for your own dog. Only one vote per person.
